Neutral Vendors

A neutral vendor helps clients source goods and services. Neutral vendor procurement is a model where a third-party provider acts as an intermediary, managing a marketplace of pre-qualified suppliers to fulfill a client's needs, such as temporary staff or other goods and services.

Avison Young holds affiliations with a handful of neutral vendors. Normally these will contract in a slightly different way with a Neutral Vendor i.e. a contract may run through the Neutral Vendor and payments so AY UK will contract direct with the Neutral Vendor rather than the public sector body. The process is generally straight forward to use but its best to get advice from our public sector or legal team on terms and conditions. Normally a public sector body elects to procure via a Neutral Vendor for speed this has been the case with Birmingham City Council as an example.

They generally command a higher management fee in the region of 4-5% and above depends on each provider.

The providers featured below are those Avison Young have worked with to deliver various services for public sector clients.
