What is your role at Avison Young?

Principal and Managing Director of the Denver office How did you get into commercial real estate? By accident more than 25 years ago....I was working for a General Contractor who did all of Hines' tenant improvement work. Once I was a part of the interaction between their property management team and the tenants, I was hooked. When Hines made me an offer, I jumped at the opportunity!

Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?

My kids - they have taught me the importance of patience, humility, laughter and not taking myself too seriously.

What is the best advice you've ever received?

How has Avison Young supported you as a woman in business?

Today's only my 4th day but I guess agreeing with me that I should run the Denver office!

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I love to lift weights.
