What is your role at Avison Young?

Director of Research

I coordinate quarterly market reports for Nashville's office, industrial, and retail markets; provide detailed, customized information for tenants and landlords regarding economic conditions, comparable transactions, as well as insights and forecasts for the Nashville market.

How did you get into commercial real estate?

During graduate school, I interned with a commercial real estate firm in Oxford, MS. Working alongside my mentor on various projects, I quickly became interested in all the different facets of commercial real estate.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?

My mom. She always exudes strength under pressure and has the best advice. She taught me to always be kind, strong, and to be someone people can count on.

What is the best advice you've ever received?

Always remember WHO and WHOSE you are.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

In high school I was a hair model.
